Milo departs
Miles Powell leaves the Seasiders
Long serving Seasiders midfielder/striker Miles Powell has left the club. Milo has spent over 12 years at the club over two spells and has played a significant role in helping the club achieve its current standing, with more than 90 goals scored in his near 300 appearances, he has made a huge contribution towards the most sustained and successful period in the clubs history. Off the field Miles is a well-loved Seasider and he will be greatly missed by everyone, we all wish him the very best for the future and thank him for his incredible efforts over the years. Manager Stuart Boardley said. “We really wish Milo all the best, he has always been a firm favourite on and off the pitch and first to put his hand up to help anyone. Any club that secures his services in the future will be very lucky and find themselves with a lovely guy. With several players coming back from injury, Milo felt that he wasn’t getting enough game time and we fully understand that, he has a lot to offer and needs that regular football, we genuinely hope that happens and wish him every success in his career”.
