SEASIDERS CAPTURE FORMER IPSWICH TOWN DEFENDER
Seasiders agree permanant deal for former Ipswich Town Defender
Felixstowe & Walton United have agreed a deal to sign former Ipswich Town Central Defender Harry Knock on a permanant contract. Harry spent the majority of last season on loan at the AGL Arena and made 27 appearances for the Seasiders during the most successful season in the clubs history, scoring one goal.
Seasiders Manager, Stuart Boardley. "We're obviously delighted to have Harry back at the club, he spent some time over the summer evaluating his life, I guess, and has now got himself a "proper job" following his release from Ipswich Town, and that has meant that he has recently been in a position to talk to us about signing, and we are really pleased that Felixstowe was always his first choice of where he wanted to be to play his football. It didn't take long for us to agree a deal for him to join us, he'll provide us with real competition in the centre-half area of the pitch that we've been lacking since Curtley Williams and Sam Nunn left in the summer. We are delighted he's on board and I know all the lads are looking forward to working with him again."
Harry Knock said. "It's great to be back and I'm looking forward to working with the team again. Up the Seasiders!"
