New Signing: Rhys Henry Joins Seasiders
Following the recent signing of goalkeeper Jack Spurling from Ipswich Wanderers, we can now announce that the club has secured the services of attacking midfielder Rhys Henry from Maldon and Tiptree.
Rhys is a local lad from Ipswich who has also played at Needham Market FC, Leiston and AFC Sudbury. He clearly has lots of experience at a good level of non league Football and it’s from his time at Needham Market that the link with joint manager Kevin O’Donnell exists.
Rhys told us he is really keen to be playing for a local club like Felixstowe and added, philosophically, “Winning isn’t everything but wanting to is”.
Kevin O’Donnell added, “Looking forward to working with Rhys again, he is a perfect in our squad and brings a lot of Bostik League experience which will be vital for us this season”
Kevin O’Donnell and Ian Watson are clearly working very hard behind the scenes to build a strong squad of players capable of competing at step 4 football.
