Disappointing night for the Seasiders
The first team lost their winning home run in the Bostik North losing 1-3 at home to Soham Town Rangers.
The visitors took the lead in the 8th minute through Alfie Connor before Seasiders' Jack Ainsley equalised from the spot midway through the first half. However, two second half goals from Joe Carden and Sam Mulready gave Soham the points.
The reserves suffered another defeat, this time losing 5-2 at Holland FC in the League Challenge Cup. After a positive start Holland scored from a corner which opened the floodgates and could have been higher than the 3-0 at half time suggested. Second half, despite conceding two more goals, the last 20 minutes showed what the Reserves are capable of after 3 substitutes were made and played some decent football with two goals pulled back from Ashley Veitch.
