Reumel Codrington Signs For Reserves
Reserve team boss Luke Hillyard, along with assistant Alex Egelton, continue to strengthen their squad as they bid to move away from the relegation zone in The Thurlow Nunn League Division One. The most recent signing is Reumel Codrington, a 26 year old centre back/striker from Debenham FC.
Speaking about the capture Hillyard said, “ This big, powerful defender will give us some much needed height and strength and with his leadership skills will be a massive asset to the young squad!... ‘Big Rem’ is a player I have tried to sign over the last 2-3 seasons and have finally managed to get him...I can’t wait to start working with him and look forward to seeing him in a Felixstowe shirt!.... adding him to other recent signings has strengthened the squad massively and has put us in a great position as we look to finish outside the relegation zone”
This Saturday (19th January) The Reserves, who currently occupy 18th spot in the league, are at home to March Town United who sit in 4th place. Three points would see The Seasiders move further away from the drop zone and they would, of course, welcome all the support they can get.
